  • Appears more vegetative than Spitfire, may suit wider row spacing better than Spitfire

  • Suited to medium to high rainfall areas

Longreach Lancer

  • To be released 2014

  • Marketed by Pacific Seeds

  • APH southern NSW

  • $4.25/t EPR, no grower to grower trading allowed

  • Late maturing, 4 -7 days later than Gregory

  • Stripe Rust resistance MR

  • Yellow Leaf Spot resistance MS

  • Short, compact, less vegetative than Gregory

  • Suited to higher rainfall or irrigation areas

Suntop

  • Released 2012

  • Marketed by AGT

  • APH in southern NSW

  • $3.25/t EPR, ability to share seed between growers

  • Stripe Rust resistance R – MR

  • Yellow Leaf Spot resistance MS – S

  • Has performed well in trials, paddock data and feedback will be available post 2013

  • Bred to be used with Clearfield Intervix herbicide technology
